Thanks for visiting this blog today. The last time, I started a series under the Money Making Secrets from the Bible Section on this blog where I taught how you can become rich by playing the “asking game”.

Today, I want to give you examples of Bible personalities who actually played the “asking game’ very well and made themselves rich in the process.

Solomon

“And Solomon sent to Huram the king of tyre, saying, as you deal with my father, and did send him cedars to build him a house to dwell in, even so deal with me…send me now therefore a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze… and that has skill to engrave with the men that are with me in Judah…” 2 Chronicles 2:3,7 (KJ 2000).

The Bible passage above describes how King Solomon played out the “asking game” when he was about to start the building of the house of the Lord. This was simply a joint venture (JV) proposal. A joint venture is a business term that is used to describe how two different business entities have come together to do business with both sides profiting greatly from the business deals.

I want you to understand that a JV deal will not start if one of the parties did not take the initiative to ask for it. King Solomon needed experts and he asked for them and stated in clear terms the benefits for the other party (see 2 Chronicles 2:10)!
