You are welcome to this page today. I want to discuss with you an important quality you must possess if you want to excel on this earth. I believe those who desire extra- ordinary success must be ready not to only do extra-ordinary things but must also possess extra- ordinary qualities.

I am discussing one of those extra-ordinary qualities with you today and I am calling it the “power of what you can see”.

Can you for a brief moment read the stories of the following people?

Napoleon Hill, author of the best selling book “Think and Grow Rich” made this statement in his other book –”You Can Make Your Own Miracle”

“For twenty odd years, I was forced to struggle in mastering the problems incidental to my work in organizing the world’s first practical philosophy of success…Discouraging? Heartbreaking? Not at all, for I recognized (see) from the beginning that out of my struggle would come triumph and victory in proportion to the labors invested I my task…”

Abraham Lincoln, that great president of America from failed on so many occasions in politics until he finally won election to the most important office in the United States of America.

Thomas Edison failed over 1000 times before he finally invented the light bulb.

The Wright brothers believed it was possible for human beings to fly in the sky and despite huge criticisms and unbelief from people, they went ahead to create an airplane.

Jesus “ran after the cross” though His disciples felt it was a crazy act on His part.

 God sent His only-begotten Son to the world to die for the sins of the world (John 3:16). He gave the most precious thing to Him to a sinful world. Many people will prefer to keep anything precious to them not minding the lots of others.

I can go on and on with the stories of those who persevered and endured to achieve success.

Just as I mentioned earlier on, something is common to all of them. They saw what others could not see and press on overcoming all obstacles in the process to achieve their aims.

Yes, these people saw what I called “the invisible” The Bible says this about Moses in Hebrews 11:27;

“By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger, he persevered because he saw Him who is invisible” (KJ2000)

By the time, Moses was “FIGHTING HIS WAY OUT” of the palace in Egypt, he had the opportunity earlier on of seeing what others could not see – he saw the “invisible”

Even his fellow Israelites must have thought he was out of his mind, some of them must have said, “I am sure something is wrong with Brother Moses, how can he leave a place of enjoyment to a place of suffering that is the Israel camp.

Well, I am sure Moses will still do the same thing  if he is presented with the same opportunity once again. He had seen what others did not or could not see and as a result the push to move on came from the knowledge of what he had seen.

Do you desire to make your impact felt on this earth? You need to do more than others do. You need to position yourself to see the “invisible” – an essential quality to be a success in life!
