What Is Your Faith?
I am starting today’s article with a question for you.
As a parent, do you have a faith you profess?
A faith is your belief. It is what you stand for and what you are ready to defend anywhere, anytime and everywhere. For example, I am a Christian and this is my faith and I am ever ready to write about it, teach it and discuss it anywhere, everywhere and at anytime.
What I do at www.sesanoguntade.com testify to this.
Over the years, I have observed this missing link in the lives of most parents I have interacted with. They don’t have a faith they profess! They are neither here nor there.
Now if you have a faith, you are in a position to pass it across to your children. Children at a very tender age need to cultivate certain habits that will be part of them for the rest of their lives. If this is so, then it is just appropriate for you to gradually transfer your faith to them at this stage.
I want you to know that you must be very sure of the correctness of your faith as you begin to do this.
So spend quality time to check your faith and if it is right with you, begin to pass it across to your children.
Next time, I will tell you more about the surest faith you can profess and which is just right for your children.
