Success, Inspiration and Motivation From The Bible

I am not afraid of death. I am a christian. I can’t die now because I have not finished the job God gave me to do on this earth. Jesus has the key of death and hell (Revelation 1:18) so the devil can’t terrorize me with death. He (devil) does not have the key, Jesus has it and Jesus can’t terrorize me with it.

Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17 that “Father, I have glorified you because I have finished the job you gave Me”. He went after finishing HIs job. So I will finish my job before I go. I am not scared of death, JESUS has the key of it!

The Spirit of God opened my eyes to see the picture of why everybody must evangelise from the popular Bible passage, John 3:16.

An old man who had worked for an organization retired and collected his entitlements. This was all he had.

An idea however got into his mind to invest this only possession of his into a business which he eventually did. After this great investment, the man began to watch and monitor every factor that will work for the good of his investment.

This man loved every factor that made his investment to multiply and groaned at every factor that will not be of use to his investment.

My Comment: God “invested” His only begotten Son (Jesus). The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”. He strongly desired this “investment” of a Son to bring many sons.

He is now watching every factor (you and I) who will be useful (will envagelise) to multiply His great “investment” of Jesus.

I promised during the last post that I will show you an old testament woman who demonstrated Paul’s reaction in Romans 6:2 to those Christians who still allow sinful habits to rule over them. You will need to read my last post to understand the success picture I will be describing below:

Sarah understood her (and her son’s) CEO’s, superior and free status when she declared unto Abraham, “Cast out this bond woman and her son: for the son of this bond woman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac” (Genesis 21:10)

I am not surprised God commanded Abraham to grant Sarah’s request (Genesis 21:12).

A Christian is no longer under bond to sin,we are FREE. God loves Sarah’s action, you can sure He loves it when you live your victory over sin.

The Spirit of God once inspired me with the story below on the relationship between Christians and our sin which Jesus nailed to the cross over 2000 years ago:

Let us assume you paid a visit to your CEO friend in his office and on entering the office you found his clerk sitting comfortably on your friend’s seat giving instructions to him.

What is going to be your reaction to this strange happening?

I believe you will first of all look around to see if you have entered the right office.

My Comment: When you take and obey “instructions” from any sinful habit or action, you are allowing this strange happening at your friend’s office to happen in your life!

Sin is now your slave as a result of the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary. Apostle Paul said in Romans 6:2, “God forbid. How shall, we that are dead to sin, live any longer in it?” Paul cannot see any reason why something that we have had victory over would turn around to rule over us – he says, “God forbid…”!

Next time I will show another individual in the old testament who rejected the strange office happening I described above. She is a woman and she did that in the old testament!

The HolySpirit of God inspired me with this illustration on the topics of salvation; sanctification and baptism of the HolySpirit. Please enjoy the illustration from the Success Laboratory for today.

1. A very dirty cloth lie on the floor:

this is’ the state of a non christian. He or she is dirty and on the floor. Sin has kept him or her on the floor.

2. The dirty cloth picked up from the floor:

when the dirty sinner accepts Jesus as His Lord and Savior, he or she has been raised from the floor. He has risen above sin but still has his or her dirty clothes on.

3. The risen dirty cloth is washed and ironed:

This is the work of the Spirit of God through the washing power of the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7). Nobody will put on himself or herself a very dirty clothe that has mud all over it!

4. The now washed and ironed clothe is now worn:

this is the stage the HolySpirit takes full residence in this once corrupt and very dirty sinner if he or she asked Jesus for this great Gift (Luke 3:16)

5. The now clean cloth undergoes regular clean up for the duration of its lifetime:

though a Christian is now cleansed and baptized in the Holyghost, the process of cleaning continues and it is for a lifetime!

A man (a sportsman I believe) found himself all alone on a football field in a very big stadium. The stadium was filled to capacity. The eyes of all the people were glued to this performer on the field.

This athlete who knew the whole stadium was looking at him and rooting for him labored to get his task done on the field. However, all his efforts yielded no result!

This athlete tried more in order not to disappoint the audience but all to no avail!

As he tired out, a Man appeared behind him and tapped him on the shoulder and said, “It’s not by power nor by might but by my Spirit”.

COMMENT: Zechariah 4:6 states clearly the statement from this Man in the vision above. The HolySpirit of God is the One that will make any Christian do exploits in this world. Our own power or might won’t do it.

We need to relate with Him deeply waiting on Him for instructions at every point in time. Our success or Christian achievement lies in obeying His instructions!

This vision taught me great lessons about my success aspirations in the vineyard of God when I saw it. I searched everywhere thereafter in the Bible and in bookstores to read more about the HolySpirit and His ministry.

For some years now, God has spoken to me using pictures. I have seen these pictures in my dreams, while studying the Bible and in a trance. There were times when the Holy Spirit had impressed these pictures upon my spirit while taking a walk or looking at objects. I have also been instructed while reading books of my mentors. He has also used stories to show me these pictures.

I discovered that He has used these experiences to train me in the area of my purpose in life. These pictures are success pictures.

I have created this group to share these experiences with others, I hope they will be of great use to you.

Let me inform you that you have to read these pictures and balance things with the word of God. The word of God as contained in the Bible is the surest source of information for any Godly success.

The situation in my country for so many months now have been that of many crisis everywhere. Innocent blood is being shed every now and then. What makes the whole issue very pathetic is the fact that the Government of the country has done little to provide solutions. It is indeed a crisis-riden time for Nigerians.

All Hope is Not Lost

Well if there are crisis everywhere and nobody is ready to do anything about it, i am happy to tell you that there somebody who is ready to do something about it – that PERSON is JESUS CHRIST. You should just look up John 15:5b which reads “…without Me (JESUS), you can do nothing”. This says it all!

When there is crisis, CHRIST is the solution! Please run to JESUS today; He only cares.
