What does the Bible say about taking responsibility? I believe we don’t need to look very far. We should look at the life of a young lady who took up a Christian responsibility to others despite the danger of losing her life.
This person was Esther. She was married to a gentile king of Persia in those days when the Children of Israel lived in Persia as captives. This Christian success article, what does the Bible say about taking responsibility? will show you why Christians have great opportunities today to start showing more responsibilities in the areas of solving the many problems that are bedeviling the earth. This is not the time to stay away or feel less concerned. We have a duty to God to take up problems solving responsibilities in our different countries as the Lord will bring our way.
My strict observation today shows a Christian community who don’t care. It shows a Christian community who only care for their own personal welfare. It shows a Christian community who wouldn’t mind if the next door neighbor is hungry so far they have food on their own tables. We have also taken this ‘I don’t care attitude’ to the church. During prayer time, we hardly pray for communities or countries that are under the siege of terrorist. If the terrorists are not around our own borders or in our own town, then anybody elsewhere can die from the guns, knives and weapons of the terrorists.
God will save the Christian community from the’ spirit of selfishness’. Amen.
“Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and If I perish, I perish!”
That was the statement of Esther which clearly answers the question: What does the Bible say about taking responsibility?
The whole community of Jews was to be exterminated. She was the queen and in the corridors of powers. She accepted the challenge to make a change. She accepted the challenge to solve a problem even at the expense of her life!
She took responsibility. She solved a problem. She did not eventually lose her life!
What Christian responsibilities are you ready to take up in your community and country? What problem is God asking you to solve? What is that difficult situation which you have the gifts and talents to provide solutions to?
Christian responsibility to others comes with it great rewards from God and even the society if you keep at it. Esther and Mordecai were hugely rewarded, you will also reap the huge rewards here on the earth and in Heaven if you don’t stop.
