When Motivation is Intrinsic: How to inspire and motivate yourself from within

Some people have developed a great power to do because they have allowed themselves to be motivated from within. When motivation comes from within, you will act on your ideas. On the other hand, if you have to do something because someone else or something else is forcing you to do it, then you are not likely to finish the job even if it seems you are making progress. How do you now get motivated from within? The best way I believe is to have love and passion for what you do.

One of America’s film industry innovators, George Walton Lucar, Jr. explains how his motivation has come from within as a result of the passion he had for what he does, “I am simply trying to struggle through life; trying to do God’s bidding – my first six years in business were hopeless … You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks… otherwise, you will stop at the first giant hurdle”.

I have always not found it difficult waking up in the morning to write that life-changing article or a part of that great book. I am motivated from within and the power to do is readily available in me. You can’t be a champion on all “grounds”. You need to find out your own domain of relevance here on this earth.
