The more we move into the end times, the more it’s necessary we cultivate a closer relationship with God. Cultivating a closer relationship with God is all about getting deeper or closer to His Word as we have it in the bible.
It’s just that we always want to run away from this basic truth below:
The only solution there is and there will ever be to any problem that will come upon the earth is in the Word of God!

Importance of the Word of God to stay on top of situations
If you want to stay on top of situations in this new year, you need to decide to dig deeper into the Word of God. Look at what Jeremiah wrote:
Jeremiah 17:7-8
[7]“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
[8]For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
A tree planted by the waters is a person who is always coming into His presence praying and studying His Word. If you must do this successfully this year, you must put in place what I call a spiritual structure or timetable. This way you will always have a laid-out program that will always compel you to study God’s Word and also come into His presence.
Study the Word of God deeper this new year
Dig deeper into God’s Word this new year. Be planted by the rivers of water and you will scale tough hurdles this year and record greater achievements in your life, family, and business. Happy new year.
