You will be able to understand the spiritual dimension of poverty in this post. Some will argue with this but it is the simple truth and it is backed up by God’s Word.

I was able to give the following contents and comment in a forum where lots of members don’t believe that poverty has a spiritual dimension.

Spiritual dimension of poverty: A reality

There’s a dimension of poverty that is spiritual. Believe me. Those of us in this aspect of service, profession or business know.

This is what most preachers of this topic try to explain. Because sin and it’s consequences are spiritual. Deuteronomy 28 spells it out very clearly when you obey and when you disobey.

Don’t condemn preachers who preach spiritual dimension of poverty

Don’t condemn the preachers who preach spiritual dimension of poverty. Yes, there’s a dimension of poverty that has to do with productivity and efficiency and smartness but there’s a dimension of poverty that’s deeply spiritual.

Some of these preachers have seen beyond the physical and most times, they preach by revelation and from experience. Many come to them with their problems and usually, the Holy Spirit reveals some solutions to them that are beyond the physical.

Demonic covenants that cause poverty

There are some evil or demonic covenants that will stubbornly ensure poverty no matter how hard working you are. They are covenants and they must be broken before the person can enjoy wealth. If the person is in sin, he won’t be able to break these demonic covenants that cause poverty.

Hardwork is not enough

Sometimes or even most times, hardwork is not always enough. Some people have claimed some people only work hard to become wealthy but most times, people will not tell you publicly the spiritual buttons (either godly or ungodly) they press to get wealthy or stay wealthy.

Let us look at a good biblical example. When Moses and Aaron got to Pharaoh’s palace, Aaron put his rod on the floor and pharaoh called his own magicians to do the same. Pharaoh was staying relevant with magicians backing him up.

We even have some of these wealthy people who are strong sowers into the lives of popular ministers of God and have asked that they should not be mentioned publicly.

Most have spiritual forces backing them up – it can be Godly or ungodly.

While I agree that being spiritual does not make you become negligent of important practices that ensure financial prosperity but it should be said also that hardwork only may not always bring wealth.
