The acts of miracles from God must be initiated by man. But how do you initiate miracles? How can you walk by faith to receive your much needed miracles from God?
God wants you to initiate His acts (His miracles)
Going through the scripture, I have found out that every act of God in our lives must be initiated by us. Jesus showed this during His popular sermon on the mount in Matthew Chapter 5.
I want you to look at some of His glorious statements below:
Matthew 5:3-9
[3]“Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[4]Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
[5]Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
[6]Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
[7]Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
[8]Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
[9]Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
If you are not thirsty and hungry, you don’t qualify to be filled or fed!

How men initiated the act of miracles at a wedding ceremony
During Jesus’ first miracle in Cana Galilee, He would have come for the ceremony and left without doing anything if He was not approached with the problem at hand. They approached Him and He turned water to wine.
So the first recorded miracle of Jesus Christ wouldn’t have happened if the people had not initiated it!
Mary, His mother knew and understood this. She stubbornly asked the men to go to Him for a miracle! Remember that she had lived with Him for thirty years.

God is waiting to give us miracles
God always want to manifest His acts in our lives but He is also always waiting for us to initiate them.
Have you shed secret tears over that problem for so long now? Have you approached Him with a thirst, hunger, prayers, faith and dogged desperation?
