Grace for business: The unfair advantage
𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧’𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚
People start businesses for a variety of reasons. It’s either as a way of life, to make a living, or to make a fortune.
Each of us made it into business for one of those reasons above. For whatever reason, we have received an advantage one may consider as unfair to others in the business sphere.
The Bible says:
“𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐟 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞, 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭” (Romans 5:17 NKJV).
This Scripture is not specifically talking about business, but about our state in union with Christ.
However, there’s something very striking for me there and that is, “𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞”- Grace that is more than enough.
The receipt of the ABUNDANCE of grace gave God’s entrepreneurs an unfair advantage over others.

Abundant grace
When we accepted Christ, we were given a measure of faith. We also received the Spirit of God by measure. But when it came to grace, God gave us 𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞. Why?
The reason is so that we will reign in all areas of life, including business. To reign is to rule, to be in charge, have the lead, to prevail, or to have dominion.
God knows we would encounter a lot of challenges. He knows we would confront monsters in the marketplace. He knows our ability is not enough, so He gave us abundant grace to reign as if business itself were milk and honey.
We are not to carry on with business relying on what we can do, but on what grace can do in us, with us, for us, and through us.
𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, so it has the ability to make you succeed. If you run with it, Grace can never make you come last or stranded. So, make a demand on grace constantly.
Get on with your business with grace consciousness and you will never experience dry moments.
Have you considered that no matter how much you draw on Grace, you cannot exhaust its abundant supply? Instead, the products of grace in your life and business will make others think God is unfair to them.
