Is God Ready to Solve Your Problems?
The simple answer to this question is a big, ‘YES’. God wants to solve your problems and His Word is filled with many promises assuring you and me about this. I have practically experienced God’s mighty problem-solving powers and I have used most of my Christian information products to share this interesting story.
I want you to read 3 reasons why God wants to solve your problems. When you must have read the last word in this post. So let’s go to the first reason:
There Is Something in It for God
One of the distinct attributes of an advert or a sales copy that sells well is its ability to answer correctly this simple question, “What is in it for them?”
Note that, ‘Them’ in that question refers to the customers that the sales copy is trying to woo to buy the products it is promoting. If it contains enough clear benefits for its readers, they will end up buying the products it is promoting.
This is also one of the leadership styles of great leaders who command great followership. A leader should be able to clearly show what is in it for the people before he can have their undivided attention and support.
This is the Same for God
In John 9:1-3, and in some other parts of the Bible, I understood that there is something in it for God when He solves your problem with His power.
God wants to take all the glory. He loves this. He does not want to share His glory with anyone. If He wants to be glorified when your problems are solved, then this should motivate you to seek a solution to your problem from Him.
From the story of John 9: 1-3, Jesus said (in response to His disciples’ question), “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” (verse 3).
In essence, Jesus was asking His disciples to stop the fruitless search for who must have sinned to warrant the problem and the blind state of the man from birth. Jesus clearly showed God’s interests in opening the eyes of this blind man so that the miracle can reveal the glory of God and that news can go round the communities about God’s ability to make even blind from birth to see.
The Sin Problem Was Gone And Your Problem Will Be History
In the beginning and in the book of Genesis Chapter two, God had a cordial and intimate relationship with a man. Adam and Eve enjoyed the Garden of Eden. The problem of sickness, lack, and their likes was absent. Adam and Eve were in dominion.
However, when sin entered (when Adam and Eve sinned against God), the problem entered. Adam and Eve were sent away from the beautiful and the problem-free Garden.
Outside of the Garden, Adam had to till the hard ground and it even brought out thorns and thistles.
After this, every form of a problem came in. Murder, sicknesses, famine, lack, bitterness and their likes set in.
However, God, who is a problem solver and One who wants solutions to all problems, took a decision to solve the problem and had to come to the world as Jesus to solve the sin problem.
If God had to go to that extent to provide the salvation solution to the sin problem, then He will be ready to solve any problem you have.

Remember that sin is the mother of all problems. It is the root of all problems. But God suffered on the Cross and in the hands of His creations to solve the problems of sin.
If He could go to such an extent to solve the mother of all problems, then He is ready to solve your little problem no matter how big you think it is presently.
Jesus said in Joshua 9: 5-7, “As long as I am in the world I am the light of the world.” His Word is here with us and His Spirit is also here with us. You should stick with Him to get a solution to your problem.
God had to make a virgin conceive to bring birth to the Saviour. If God could go to that extent to find a solution to the sin problem, He will be ready to help you overcome your problem no matter what it is.
The Nature of God’s Mercy
I read the lamentation and pains of Prophet Jeremiah from Lamentation Chapter three verses 1-21 and caught a deeper revelation of his statement in verses 22 -24 of the same book and Chapter.
Jeremiah, from verses 11-21 expressed his anguish and pains which he strongly believed God allowed. I want you to understand that the painful expression of the Prophet figuratively represents the pains Jesus went through when He carried the sin of the world on Himself on the cross.
However, this pain helped the Prophet to have more hope in God and to understand the extent of His mercies. He said in verse 21: “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.”

He further said in verse 22, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassions fail not.”
In verse 23, he said, “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Despite the pains and many troubles, he was sure they would not be consumed because of God’s mercy. Despite our sin which Jesus carried on Himself on the cross, He was not consumed. He died and rose again on the third day. God did not allow Him to see corruption. “For you will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption.” (Psalm 16:10).
This is how strong God’s mercy is. With His mercy in place, all problems have a solution!
Jeremiah said His mercies are made available every morning and every day.
God is always ready to solve your problems because of the nature of His mercy. His mercy is designed to be constantly available to you and I.
The Bible says, “His mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13). Whatever must have been the cause of the problem you have, you should reach out to grab the ever-available and ever-working mercy of God and the cause of the problem (even if you deserve it), will melt away!
Learn to ask God for His mercy every day and every time you pray over a problem. Learn to start with that prayer line. The nature of God’s mercy always ensures He is ready to solve your problems.
Paul wrote to Titus this relevant piece. I got this while I was putting finishing touches to this book. Paul wrote: “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” (Titus 2:11). This grace has appeared already. This is in the past tense. It is available already. That wonderful grace appeared and sin melted away through salvation. This same grace is still available today and will always be useful for the salvation or redemption of any problem you have.
To God be the glory. Amen.
