How to break barriers of not going the extra mile to start and complete tasks and projects is the focus of this post. We operate very strongly in the personal development and success principles niche, so we have come across lots of people who don’t have the energy, wisdom, or power to complete projects.
Usually, they have been unable to break the barriers or obstacles that come against them in the process of starting and completing their projects.
How to break barriers limiting you
What you need to understand is that you can’t attain any success level or become successful if you don’t start and complete projects. I have met people who have felt they are too ‘little’ to start and complete projects.
Your littleness or smallness does not matter. It’s the superiority of the wisdom you possess over that task or project that gives you success and breakthrough.
How to break barriers: The role of attitudes
I have had the opportunity to observe and study the reactions and attitudes of some people about their capacity to succeed on a task, project, or mission for many years now.
While I engage in casual discussions with them, their negative attitude come to the fore with their wrong beliefs and confessions about their inability or lack of capacity to achieve success on their projects.
It’s very common to hear them confess the following:
- “Ah, I don’t think I will be able to do that now considering the huge resources involved.”
- “Such projects can only be done by rich people; it’s not for people like us”
- ” You see I have no one to help me and I have a lot of responsibilities now.”
- “I have not been able to do anything about it sir. Maybe I should be able to start next year. I am presently handicapped financially” (usually, they end up not doing anything about it many years after).
How to break barriers: Your littleness does not matter
But your littleness and smallness should not stop you from starting and completing a project. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
I got exceeding wisdom from the book of Proverbs 30 on how to break barriers. Read it below:
Proverbs 30:24-28
[24]There are four things which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise:
[25]The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer;
[26]The rock badgers are a feeble folk, Yet they make their homes in the crags;
[27]The locusts have no king, Yet they all advance in ranks;
[28]The spider skillfully grasps with its hands, And it is in kings’ palaces.
The ants, rock badgers, locusts, and spiders are small and little but they are always achieving great things on their specific tasks.
What are they using to do all these?
The bible calls it ‘Exceeding Wisdom.’ Their littleness does not matter; their exceeding wisdom always gets the job done.
You should learn from this. You’re capable and you can do it. Go ahead and get the wisdom needed to achieve success.
Rock badgers are feeble but they always use wisdom to build a home in a rock! That’s interesting! Interestingly, God’s Word is using these tiny creatures to teach us how to break barriers. God bless you.
