Agreed having a huge marketing budget can play a significant role in publicity and marketing but of utmost importance also is the quality of your products/services. I want you to see this interesting principle from Prophet Isaiah in the Bible.
Marketing for Christian entrepreneurs: How Isaiah saw it
“Arise; shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.” (Isaiah 60:1-4).
Did you see the following line in that passage: “The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
What does the Bible mean by the ‘brightness of your rising’?
It means how bright your rising is or how bright are your business activities or how bright is the quality of your product/service. How have you put in quality into the development of your products and services so that your customers can always get the best from your company?
The quality of your product/service will always be a huge factor that can bring the people or the customers or important people to your business.

This implies that the quality of your products or services is a very important marketing tool for your business. It’s one that will bring customers back to your business again and again even without any additional marketing or advertising cost.
When your product is good or when it solves the problem it’s designed to solve perfectly, people will patronize your business, stay with you and buy more from you. They will even recommend your products or services to their friends without you pushing for it.
How I get business referrals
I got lots of these free referrals when I was offering home educational consultancy some years ago with my first company. These referrals brought me lots of businesses and of course, lots of money.
Companies like Google, Facebook, and WhatsApp grew that way. They packaged great products and the users of the products used word of mouth to promote the products.
I have used the same products for personal and home use for the same purposes for many years now. When it’s time to buy these products, I don’t think of any other alternative products in the market because the owners of those products have packaged good qualities into their products that are just useful or of benefits to me.
In my business, we have customers who have purchased our products and services over and over again and they have even recommended them to others. This is possible because we have decided to always allow our rising or our light to shine brightly every time.
We don’t just sell products or offer services to the public unless they will truly and honestly help our customers. We give out exceptional services to customers and they are happy to come back. Quality products attract large customers
In conclusion under this chapter, I want you to look at what verses 4-7 of that same chapter has to say (this will gladden your heart):
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, and I will glorify the house of My glory.”
Yes, your customers will come to you in large numbers if only you allow your rising to become brighter continually. So begin to shine your light very brightly. You should begin to produce quality products and services; these are the best marketing weapons for your business.
