Day 4 Evening session RCCG annual convention 2026
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, during the evening session of Day of the ongoing annual convention of the church addressed the widespread criticisms and abuse that have trailed him across social media platforms over the months.
The criticisms have come, majorly from the opposition party, especially the Obidients movement, who want the Christian Patriarchs to come heavily with criticisms of the ruling government.
I want to you read Pastor Adeboye’s reaction to this during his sermon at the evening session of the RCCG annual convention 2026.
How Pastor Adeboye reacted to the criticisms
Please read his reactions below:
You know, in Isaiah 54:15–17, the Bible says that God declared:
“Some people are going to gather together against you, but not with My permission.”
He then says, “Don’t worry yourself. Those who gather together against you will fall for your sake.”
Then, in Isaiah 54:15–17, after telling you that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper—because He is the One who made all weapons—He also says that when anyone speaks against you, you must condemn them.
Some of you may remember that, not too long ago, I prophesied that mockers would increase. How many of you remember that?
So, when you see mockers increasing in number and mocking us—even little children calling someone old enough to be their grandfather “stupid”—there is nothing new about it. Prophecy is simply being fulfilled.
But as the Lord lives, beginning from now, your mockers will be silent.
