Section 1: Introduction to the Love of God
Why God wants to solve your problems
Adults Neglecting the love of God today
According to a report of a survey monitored on Christianity Today, “One-third of US adults believe in a higher power but not in God as described in the Bible.” This clearly shows the love which God, as described in the Bible, freely offers is not being embraced by a sizeable section of the community.

This love is a problem-solving love and is freely available for anyone who wants to have it.
Another research monitored on the LifeWay website shows that “Americans love God and the Bible but Are fuzzy on the details.” It is important that those who love God must understand the details of the love He has for them and how that love is able to make Him solve their problems. You need to understand the love of God so that you can enjoy all that Christianity has for you. Please read this complete guide Click To Tweet
This is the intention of this guide – to share an inspired analysis of the love of God for you. That love when fully understood will be the trigger that will always push you towards the saving power of God for your problems.
The problem-solving mandate of my ministry
God gave me the mandate to run a problem-solving Christian organization. We have, through God’s help, used every message we have preached, every article we have published and every program we have organized to carry out this divine mandate of solving the problems of the people and the society.
Our Bible Short Reports series has over twenty-five ‘how to’ book titles that have been published as e-products to solve one problem or the other. These titles are free to download by anyone around the world. Many have been blessed around the world since the year 2008 when we published the first title in the series, Jesus and Your Success.
A deeper understanding of my problem-solving status
The day I got a deeper understanding of my role as a light shiner and also the discovery that the light-shining mandate of our organization involves principally problem solving and raising problem solvers, I became bolder in my evaluation of the presence of problems and I also began to enjoy more intimately the problem-solving tasks in our organization.
If God has put so much information about His love for us and problem-solving principles in the Bible, then it should clearly indicate that God Himself is extremely interested in solving our problems and the problems of our societies.
This fact above is so obvious because He called you and me, ‘light of the world’. That is, problem solvers on the earth because light shining is principally about solving problems.
Whatever problems you have or whatever problems you have observed are prevalent in your society today, you should be confident that God loves you and He wants to help you to solve the problems.
No problem can escape or is too big for God’s solution power to handle. The Bible says He is the God of all flesh (Jeremiah 32:27). In Luke 1:37, the Angel Gabriel said to Mary, “With God all things are possible.”
Angels of God knows the love of God for you
Angel Gabriel and his group of Angels are always with God. They know about how much God loves you and how He is able to solve all your problems. If He could make a virgin to conceive without any input from man through sexual intercourse, then He can do all things and solve all problems.
Please I am using this guide on the love of God to encourage you and also to educate you about why that problem you are having has an expiry date. You must approach God with His Word to get a solution. He is the only true Source of a solution to any problem.
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28-29).
For God so loved the world
Something significant happened so many years ago when God took a decision to send His only begotten Son in the person of Jesus Christ to the world to die for our sins. That was a massive sacrifice. Jesus laid down His life and shed His blood on the cross at Calvary so that our sins can be wiped off and we can have the opportunity to again to serve God unhindered as Adam and Eve enjoyed it before they fell to sin.
John 3:16 captured it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”
That was the greatest way to demonstrate love to those who don’t deserve it and by Someone who had no reason to get punished and killed for sin Because he knew no sin.
Now that unusual love is still available today to you and God is using this guide to help you to understand that God is ever ready to solve any of your problems because He loves you or because of His love for you.
Now why am I so confident about this? I will show you in the remaining part of this guide.
Section 2: 7 Reasons God Wants to Solve Your Problems (Part 1)
Under this section, I will be sharing the first part of the 7 reasons (there are more) why God is deeply interested in solving your problems because He loves you dearly.
1. There Is Something in It for God
One of the distinct attributes of an advert or a sales copy that sells well is its ability to answer correctly this simple question, “What is in it for them?” Note that, ‘Them’ in that question refers to the customers that the sales copy is trying to woo to buy the products it is promoting. If it contains enough clear benefits for its readers, they will end up buying the products it is promoting.
This is also one of the leadership styles of great leaders who command great followership. A leader should be able to clearly show what is in it for the people before he can have their undivided attention and support.
This is the Same for God
In John 9:1-3, and in some other parts of the Bible, I understood that there is something in it for God when He solves your problem with His power.
God wants to take all the glory. He loves this. He does not want to share His glory with anyone. If He wants to be glorified when your problems are solved, then this should motivate you to seek the solution to your problem from Him.
From the story of John 9: 1-3, Jesus said (in response to His disciples’ question), “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” (verse 3).
In essence, Jesus was asking His disciples to stop the fruitless search for who must have sinned to warrant the problem and the blind state of the man from birth. Jesus clearly showed God’s interests in opening the eyes of this blind man so that the miracle can reveal the glory of God and that news can go round the communities about God’s ability to make even blind from birth to see.
2. The Sin Problem Was Gone And Your Problem Will Be History
In the beginning and in the book of Genesis Chapter two, God had a cordial and intimate relationship with a man. Adam and Eve enjoyed the Garden of Eden. The problem of sickness, lack, and their likes was absent. Adam and Eve were in dominion.
However, when sin entered (when Adam and Eve sinned against God), the problem entered. Adam and Eve were sent away from the beautiful and the problem-free Garden.
Outside of the Garden, Adam had to till the hard ground and it even brought out thorns and thistles. After this, every form of problems came in. Murder, sicknesses, famine, lack, bitterness and their likes set in.
God is love and a problem solver
However, God, who is a problem solver and One who wants solutions to all problems, took a decision to solve the problem and had to come to the world as Jesus to solve the sin problem. If God had to go to that extent to provide the salvation solution to the sin problem, then He will be ready to solve any problem you have. Remember that sin is the mother of all problems.
It is the root of all problems. But God suffered on the Cross and in the hands of His creations to solve the problems of sin. If He could go to such an extent to solve the mother of all problems, then He is ready to solve your little problem no matter how big you think it is presently.
Jesus said in Joshua 9: 5-7, “As long as I am in the world I am the light of the world.” His Word is here with us and His Spirit is also here with us. You should stick with Him to get a solution to your problem.
God had to make a virgin conceive to bring birth to the Savior. If God could go to that extent to find a solution to the sin problem, He will be ready to help you overcome your problem no matter what it is.
3. The Nature of God’s Mercy
I read the lamentation and pains of Prophet Jeremiah from Lamentation Chapter three verses 1-21 and caught a deeper revelation of his statement in verses 22 -24 of the same book and Chapter.
Jeremiah, from verses 11-21 expressed his anguish and pains which he strongly believed God allowed. I want you to understand that the painful expression of the Prophet figuratively represents the pains Jesus went through when He carried the sin of the world on Himself on the cross.
However, this pain helped the Prophet to have more hope in God and to understand the extent of His mercies. He said in verse 21: “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.”
He further said in verse 22, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassions fail not “ In verse 23, he said, “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Despite the pains and many troubles, he was sure they would not be consumed because of God’s mercy. Despite our sin which Jesus carried on Himself on the cross, He was not consumed.
He died and rose again on the third day. God did not allow Him to see corruption. “For you will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption.” (Psalm 16:10).
This is how strong God’s mercy is. With His mercy in place, all problems have a solution! Prophet Jeremiah, in his book in the Bible, said His mercies are made available every morning and every day.
God is always ready to solve your problems because of the nature of His mercy and love for you. His mercy is designed to be constantly available to you and me.
Learn to ask for God’s mercy
The Bible says, “His mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13). Whatever must have been the cause of the problem you have, you should reach out to grab the ever-available and ever-working mercy of God and the cause of the problem (even if you deserve it), will melt away!
Learn to ask God for His mercy every day and every time you pray over a problem. Learn to start with that prayer line. The nature of God’s mercy always ensures He is ready to solve your problems.
God’s love and grace are here already
Paul wrote to Titus this relevant piece. I got this while I was putting finishing touches to this Christian study guide. Paul wrote: “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” (Titus 2:11).
This grace has appeared already. This is in the past tense. It is available already. That wonderful grace appeared and sin melted away through salvation.
This same grace is still available today and will always be useful for the salvation or redemption of any problem you have. To God be the glory. Amen.
Section 3: 7 Reasons God Wants to Solve Your Problems (Part 2)
I hope you enjoyed those reasons given in the last section why God wants to solve your problems. I will be showing you more reasons in this section of this Christian guide on the love of God. Please, let us jump in immediately.
4. He Made The Bible Available
During a Bible training course I did, a lecturer diligently did a good job of explaining to us how what we have today as the Bible was compiled. After the class, I concluded that it could only take the mighty hand of God to organize this compilation.
It was God’s inspiration that helped writers to sit down and write the Bible books. It was His power that preserved these writings through many years. It was His power that brought influential and willing people together to put together these divine writings into a single book.
Bible contains instructions about the love of God
Now the Bible contains divine instructions, principles, and stories, exhortations that are meant to help us know more about God, His ways and also act as a guide for us to find solutions to our problems.
God knew from the onset that the world will be filled with sins, devilish and demonic activities and lots of problems (Isaiah 60) so He ensured the Bible is here for us so that we can always find a sure divine guide to the solutions of those problems.
Some of us today find joy in going into the Word of God whenever we have a problem to solve.
Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)
The Bible also has this account: “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching … and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed … And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.”
God’s Word has the power to solve your problems
Jesus preached and spoke the Word of God to the people. With the presence of God’s Word (which is what we have in the Bible), God’s power was available to do miraculous healing when Jesus taught the people the Word.
In Acts 19:20, we have this line: “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” Diverse forms of victories were also recorded in Ephesus because God’s Word increased.
God’s Word is filled with lots of problem-solving nuggets. God is always ready to solve our problems; this is the reason why He gave us the Bible.
5. God Wants More Light Shiners
Jesus emphatically called you and I light shiners in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
I also read from the Bible in Isaiah 60:1 how God instructs us to rise and shine our lights. Jesus also commanded us to go into the world and preach the gospel. He wants you and me to be light shiners on the earth.
Remember I shared earlier that light shining is all about problem-solving. In essence, He wants us to be problem solvers on this earth.
God wants to enlist you into His workforce
Now God wants to solve your problems so that you can do more light shining or problem-solving. How is that possible?
God knows when He solves your problems He can enlist you into His problem-solving or light-shining camp where you can begin to tell others about what He has done for you or even go ahead to help them solve the same problem God solved for you.
In essence, God wants to solve your problems because He wants more and more problem-solving evangelists on this earth. How beautiful the earth will be if everybody is solving the problem they are created to solve. We will be so busy that we will not have the time for the devil!
I have seen authors, who after solving their personal problems, gone ahead to help others to solve the same problems through their books or other information products. That is the way God wants it; He wants to solve our problems and then enlist us to lead others with the same problem to Him to get solutions for their problems.
If you have a problem of any type today this should put some confidence into you. God is ready to help because He wants to achieve something with your life. You need to allow Him by staying with Him until He gives you a solution.
How a blind man got his problems solved
A man that was blind from the womb received love of God in John Chapter 9. I want you to look at what happened in that story:
- Jesus opened his eyes (He solved his problems) (John 9: 6-7).
- The blind man who saw began to tell others what Jesus did (verses 10-12).
- This man went further to tell the people that Jesus was a prophet (verse 17).
- This man went further to declare boldly that Jesus performed a miracle in his life (verse 25).
- He said this final statement to his hearers,“If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.” (verse 33)
The blind man became a preaching and a problem-solving evangelist for God because God solved his problem.
6. God is Patient
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish…” (2 Peter 3:9).
The passage above shows us one of the reasons why probably the second coming of Jesus has not come to pass. It is because God is patient, forgiving and tolerant. God wants as many people as possible in His camp. He does not want you to perish.
The patience of God for you and I is without measure. He is patiently waiting for sinners to turn to Him; He does not want them to end in hell.
If God can continue to delay the second coming of Jesus Christ for sinners or probably you and I (Christians) because He wants the salvation of our souls, He will be ready to do anything to ensure
- the salvation of your bodies (if you have a sickness problem),
- the salvation of your finances (If you have financial problems) and
- the salvation of our souls and minds (if you have mental problems).
If God is keeping us on this earth because He is patiently waiting for more souls to be saved, He will be ready to help us to solve any problem we have. He won’t keep us here to suffer; He will always be ready to solve any problem we have until Jesus’ second coming.
7: God Has So Much Honor for His Word
When I read from the Bible that God has magnified His Word above all His name (Psalm 138:2), I helped myself to sit down and think deeply about the relevance of God’s Word. I believe there must be something about His Word that every human being must be ready to find out every day of their lives.
Agreed I have written something about His Word already in this book but I believe His Word deserves this second mention especially as I am trying to show its relevance in another way to the theme of this book.
God said about Jesus in Philippians 2:9-11, that He has given Jesus a name that is above every other name. Yes, that name is extremely powerful. However, the Bible says he honors His Word more than His name. This shows that there must be something about God’s Word that makes Him to put His Word at a higher scale than His name.
Now this same Word of God says, “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shined in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John1: 4-5). This implies that the light needed to solve problems is richly available from God’s Word. Because it is this, then God will be ever ready to back up these promises from His Word.
God went to the cross because of His love for us
There are many other promises of solutions to problems in the Bible. One of it is in Isaiah 53:5 says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed.”
That was another bold promise from God’s Word and just as I mentioned earlier, God, because of who He is and because He honors His Word more than His name, will always be ready to back up or work for the promises in His Word to come to pass.
God needs your faith despite His love for you
What God needs from you and me is our faith in all the promises His Word gave to solve our problems. Our faith is the connecting bridge God will cross to get to our problems and get it solved.
God wants to solve your problems because He honors His Word more than His name. God wants to solve your problems because He is every ready to work to make His promises in His Word solve your problems. You don’t have to do the work, He will do it. You only need to ensure you put your faith on the line consistently. This is the platform you can always stand upon to give God the opportunity to solve your problems.
My personal story of enjoying the love of God
Let me end this section by telling you a personal story. I have written about this experience in many of my books and on this blog so it is likely you have read the story before. So pardon the repletion if you have seen and read the story before.
After we got married, my wife and I had this delay in having a child for some years. When it was the fourth year, I was taking a walk and I sensed an inspiration from the Spirit of God asking me to tell friends, neighbors and family members to start using the name of the child that we desire to call my wife.
In my part of the world, we use the name of children to call their parents.
I obeyed this instruction immediately. I informed neighbors and some children of neighbors who come around to our house about this. One of the little children asked my wife and I, “But where is the child?” I replied also by faith, “The child is coming.”
All things began to work for our good concerning this problem and in some months’ time after that, my wife conceived and eventually delivered our first child.
We stepped on the faith platform so that God could do what He knows how to do best – solve our problems when we decide to walk by faith.
God can solve all problems
My dear friend, never allow the devil to tell you there is a problem God cannot solve; God can solve all problems. If a problem will remain, it must be for a reason well known to God and usually, He will communicate the situation to you in a revelation. That was what He did to Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9 when He told him, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
If a problem will remain by God’s choice, it means God wants to use it to achieve His purpose and also add profits and benefits to you in the end.
However, if He has not communicated any message to you about this, you should hang on to Him to get a solution to your problem. All problems have expiry dates.
I hope you have been blessed by this Christian guide on the love of God and how He is ever ready to solve your problems.

Do You Want To Learn How to Solve Problems With Your Business?
Running A Successful Business and keeping Your Relationship With God
Below is the story of a Christian who rose through the ranks to a top management position in a commercial bank. Please read on.
“Now the rise to this top executive position, though good, came with its own problems and temptations. I had the privilege to see through the behind-the-door happenings in the bank. I had the opportunity of meeting different high-brow customers of the bank. I had the opportunity to either keep my job or lose my morality and spirituality.
I shockingly noticed some top officers of the bank were either involved in one shady deal or the other in the bank. I surprisingly observed that some anti-banking services were being carried out by the so-called big customers of the bank in conjunction with the top executives of the bank.
What nearly drove me to a state of spiritual and moral coma was that because of my position in the bank, I had to either see these dirty practices and look away or see them and put my signature on paper endorsing them against my will!”
Does that story sound familiar?
What picture does this story paint? That it is practically impossible to run a successful business or participate actively and successfully in the market place without getting involved in one fraud or shady business practices or the other.
An average Christian can quickly reach the conclusion that if we have lots of insincerity and dishonesty happening in the corporate world and in business market places, then it is virtually impossible for any Christian to get involved, stay off these shady deals and also maintain his or her relationship with God. At least, I have listened to many Christians express this wrong notion in casual discussions.
I totally disagree with this notion.
