The Word of God is powerful enough to be your refuge in this period of total confusion and helplessness in our world today. This message of hope and revelation is what I have brought to you today.

Why the Word of God is powerful

In case you want me to remind you, the Word of God is powerful. Come to think of it, God is the Creator of the earth and anyone on the earth today (Psalm 24). God alone fashioned how the earth and our world would look like. He created the beginning and knows what the end will be.

God has made all the information available via His Word. His Word which contains the revelations of these secrets is a powerful medium that can adequately take good care and help anyone despite all the problems our world is experiencing today. God’s Word can be your refuge; you must run to it for protection.

God’s part is already and always settled

So in the midst of all we have faced (and are still facing) in this beautiful year of 2020, it’s important I inform you or remind you that the best refuge for you is still the Word of God. Everything has failed but God’s Word will never fail.
Don’t allow circumstances and situations in Nigeria and all over the world to get you confused and to take you down the path of ungodliness or ungodly thoughts. God’s part is always and already settled. The Word of God is powerful enough to be your refuge. I want you to look at this:
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts, and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”

God has a plan for you

He has a plan for you even before the problem of Nigeria or covid-19 came on board. Don’t allow these negative situations to stop you from believing what God has said about your and your future.
You need to settle your own part and that of the devil because God’s part is settled already.
On your part, believe and hold fast to God’s Word and promises for you. David, in Psalm 63, in the wilderness where there was no water, said I will seek you (God), and my soul and flesh long after you.
That was someone who took a decision to settle his own part standing resolutely on God and His Word.

The Word of God is powerful enough to stop the devil

You need to settle the part of the devil by ensuring you think and declare what God has said about you only. The devil has not changed his tricks and he won’t – he tries to get at you through your thoughts and confessions.
The psalmist said,
‘Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight o Lord (psalm 19:14).

Let your thought align with God’s Word

You would have succeeded in putting a lot of what the devil can do under check if you let your thoughts and confessions align resolutely on what God has said. The situations today in Nigeria and in our world present the opportunity for the devil to get at you through your thoughts and confessions and even actions so that you can stray away from the Word of God and His promises for you.
At the Visionary Business Project, we pray that you will spend more time with God’s Word and in prayer. We pray you will develop a more intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.
We have lots of free resources for you at our website and blog at Christian personal development.
If you are yet to give your life to Jesus Christ, you need to do so today. You can’t get the best of God if you are not His. Jesus is the Way to God. Ask Him to become your Lord and Savior today. God bless you.
