The year, 2019 is almost getting to an end and I am excited about the new year 2020. I believe you should too.
Come to think of it, how has the power in the word of God helped you to do exploits this year? If you have not given a thought to that question before, I believe you should do so now.
How has God helped you in the year 2020? What have you achieved personally and professionally this year? If you run a business, how has God helped you?
Power in the Word of God for Year 2020
I am sure you have read the Bible passage below before:
“And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God)”. Daniel 11:32
That passage shows a clear secret on how to scale hurdles and do exploits next year 2020.
Knowing God and the Power of God
Knowing God is about:
1. Knowing His will through His Word. Studying His Word ceaselessly and sincerely.
2. Having great faith in His Word.
3. Ensuring you keep to His Word by obeying it. Obedience is surely better than sacrifice. I hope Christians can understand the relevance of that statement.
4. Using His Word directly in prayers. Praying psalms can be very effective here. Praying some chapters in Isaiah and some other books of the prophets can also be very effective here. You don’t just read it out, you do it with your heart and mind. You should note that the Word of God will not work out well for you if you are not obedient to it.
5. Allowing the Holy Spirit to dictate your life with His Word on a daily basis. I hope Christians can understand the extreme importance of having an improving relationship with the Spirit of God.
There is Power in God’s Word to Overcome Challenges
There is so much power the Word of God can bring along. That is the reason why it is necessary to study God’s Word ceaselessly and regularly.
When there is a challenge, turn to the Word of God and stay with it for days. Light will shine and power of faith will be birthed afresh inside you and the power to scale over challenges or crush obstacles or win battles will come into place automatically.
Power is ever available in God’s Word as we have it in the Bible – that is a sure and unchangeable fact.
